Our family of 16 greatly enjoyed staying in this home. The open kitchen and family room were very amenable to our needs as well as the proximity to the beach. I wish we could have heated the pool and the master bedroom does not face the ocean but is very spacious. Could also use more cushions for porch chairs and a wet mop for the kitchen. --Message from Manager-- Hello Eileen, thank you for your review! Even when maxed out at 16 guests, we think this home offers plenty of room for everyone (the spacious recreation area downstairs works great as a "kid space" or second living area) . We had a great time staying at this house. The house was really comfortable and convenient to the beach. There is plenty of space to spread out, upstairs and down. The only disappointment was that the master suite did not face the ocean. --Message from Manager-- Hi Jane, thanks for your review! Carolina Station is great for large groups or multiple families (if you need even MORE room, consider renting Carolina Fever right next door). Even though family vacations are all about spending time together, having some personal space, privacy, and ME-time definitely keeps everyone happy. Yes, the MASTER master suite on the top level is on the west side of the house, but we think it's worth mentioning that there are two master suites on the mid level that do face the ocean :) Glad you enjoyed the convenient beach access - nothing beats oceanfront and September is a wonderful (and affordable!) time to rent. We hope to have you back soon!
