Do you have a book of plans?
After building homes for over thirty years, we have an extensive library of house plans. The first step in building your legacy home is an evaluation of your home site. This careful evaluation ensures that we select a home that fits the land it will occupy. Our plans will provide you the perfect view from the windows and porches and include the best protection from wind and weather.
Custom Home Design is also available – each house will be as individual as the homeowner, meeting your goals, budget, needs and style.

What is your square footage price for construction?
Price per square foot is an inaccurate number. If you call we will be glad to give you a generalization or range but it all depends on many different variables. We understand you may just want some information to make a decision but we would be glad to talk with you and hammer out a realistic price. It will not take too much time, and will be more reliable than a price per square foot.
Each house must be individually priced based upon several factors such as:
* Amenities desired (floors, cabinets, countertops, home theatre, etc.)
* What type Septic System is required
* Water fees
* Material cost must be updated
* Architectural review fees
We take the time to go over every item and produce an estimate that is realist with no surprises or hidden costs.

Living out of state, how will I stay informed and updated during construction?
Many of our clients are from different parts of the country. Homeowners are updated by e-mails along with progress photographs. Our Construction Team is always available via phone or email.

What is a reverse floor plan?
Kitchen, dining room and living room on upper level to take advantage of your views.

I am interested in Real Estate and lots for potential building. Can you help?
Yes. We can help with all aspects of your investment.

How many weeks can I expect to rent each year?
Our company also specializes in Vacation Rental Home Management. We currently manage over 700 properties and will use our expertise to give you an accurate rental projection. We can also explain trend changes and detail what amenities provide the highest income.

Can I afford to build on the Outer Banks and is it a good investment?
Building a home on the Outer Banks is affordable and a great investment. With your rental projection, you will see that your legacy home can pay for itself.
